- Coming Out Table - October 11th, 2007
We are having a table set up in the atrium of the Medical School building with pamphlets from the Human Rights Campaign detailing issues of coming out and many other pamphlets relating to sexuality and GLBT health. We will also be handing out rainbow caduceus pins, Straight But Not Narrow pins, and LGBT-health related literature. - Safe Zone 101 - October 30, 2007
In collaboration with the Safe Zone Project, their will be a condensed 50 minute presentation focusing on defining terms, issues surrounding coming out, and how to best become an ally. This work-shop will be a great oportunity to learn the needed information to effectively and comfortably communicate with your LGBT patients and peers.

A lecture given by Dr. Joe Freund from Planned Parenthood of Greater Iowa. This lecture was given during the M2 year in the Human Sexuality portion of the curriculum.
