Welcome to Univ of Pennsylvania SOM Local LGBTPM Chapter

Mission

As part of a national organization, LGBTPM at Penn is one of five chapters in Philadelphia. Our mission is to ensure a safe and friendly academic environment for both LGBT students and faculty in the medical community at Penn. We are a group of LGBT medical students and straight Allies who have a firm commitment to embracing diversity on this campus, by providing resources, support, and a friendly community for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender medical students. We also work towards educating the medical community regarding LGBT health concerns and welcoming LGBT applicants, by answering any questions they might have about LGBT life at Penn.
