Welcome to Wash U's homepage!
The Gay-Straight Alliance is an organization focused on promoting an LGBT-friendly environment at the medical school and in providing social support for other LGBT students. Through speakers, small discussions, films and community outreach activities, we hope to educate fellow students and physicians about issues facing LGBT patients and health providers as well as reach out to the LGBT community in areas such as health education and youth mentoring. We meet monthly for discussions and to plan various events. Eventually, we hope to include students from other graduate programs as well.
