A Healer's Sonnet

With these loving eyes do I aim to see
What brought you into this place of healing.
May we find a cause, whatever it be,
So you return home with better feeling.

With these loving ears do I hope to hear
Manifestations of your element
So that whatever we find makes more clear
The likely diagnosis of your ailment.

With these loving hands do I aim to heal
Though I cannot promise I will do so.
If you would allow me to take a feel
You would the seeds of your trust in me sow.

But it is only with my loving heart
That I will in your healing play a part.
