now how to face this pain,
this hurt i've dealt
with before yet inconsequentially
without reason without sound
a cause unknown,
a future unforeseen.
i will miss you,
you who have been with me through the darkest of my nights
and the brightest of my days
your memory i cherish
your touch i remember
your presence i feel
as a circle
you begin
and i end.
