FOR RESIDENCY PROGRAMS AND SPECIALTY ORGANIZATIONS

The top three items our members say they would like to see more of at AMSA's Convention are career development, residency program information and the choice of future specialties. Our Convention will highlight the paths of many different physician-leaders, and will address how they can take the next step to transform their passion and ideals into a fulfilling career. After hearing about the many things they can do in their exciting careers, many of our 1,300 members in attendance will be looking to find out more from you about what their next steps will be, whether it's in a specific residency, or in a particular specialty.

If you are a residency program director, students will be looking to find information about your specific program and what you have to offer. Come recruit, educate and build relationships among your best candidates--those seeking information--at the 5th Annual AMSA National Residency Fair & Specialty Showcase, Friday evening, March 14, 2008.

If you are a representative of a specialty organization, this year we would like to highlight YOUR specialty! We are featuring a showcase for all specialty organizations to come and speak with our attendees. Expose students to your specialty, and provide them information about a career in your field.

The 5th Annual Residency Fair and Specialty Showcase is a valuable way to communicate your message in an informal setting. You'll have the opportunity to:

  • Promote your program or specialty to more than 1,300 physicians-in-training at the largest gathering of physicians-in-training in the country.
  • Meet and recruit rising 4th year students for the 2009 Match.
  • Answer career questions from 1st and 4th year students and medical residents. Be their source of information.
  • Complement your exhibit hall booth space by having the extra time to talk at length with your best candidates individually.

This year:

Day/Time: Friday, March 14, 2008
6:30-9:00 pm
Cost: $500/Table ($100/Table, if exhibiting in the main hall)
