Medical school professors have a significant impact on the educational value that each medical student receives from his or her coursework. The American Medical Student Association National Golden Apple Award for Teaching Excellence recognizes the contributions of these medical school professors.

The award will be presented at AMSA's 59th Annual Convention in Arlington, Virginia.

RULES

• Only one professor or clinician from each medical school may be nominated.
• All applications must be submitted online by January 5, 2009.
• This is a blind review process - Don't include the professor's name or name of your medical school in your essay. Your application will be invalid if these rules are not followed.
• Please notify your Dean's office if you are submitting an application. AMSA will send them a confirmation within 5-7 days of receiving the application.
