AMSA's Local Golden Apple Award
Is there a faculty member or professor at your medical school or college who personifies the ideal pedagogue? If so, AMSA's Local Golden
Apple Award is just the mechanism for recognizing this unique
individual. Local Golden Apple Awards, 6" x 8" wooden
engravable plaques, are now available at no cost to AMSA chapters
(one plaque per chapter). Simply complete and submit the order
form below.
Once you have selected the winner of your Local Golden Apple
Award, nominate him/her to compete in AMSA's
National Golden Apple Award for Teaching Excellence. The
recipient of the National Golden Apple Award will receive complimentary, coach airfare, a waived registration fee, two nights hotel accommodations and a two-day per diem to attend AMSA's Annual Convention, where s/he will receive a customized award presented by the nominator and AMSA's National President. The winner will also be announced in The New Physician, AMSA's award-winning magazine. The nominating student will receive a waived registration fee and complimentary, coach airfare to present the award to the winning professor.
Place your order for your AMSA Chapter's Local Golden Apple Award today. To order, complete the following (this is where your plaque will be sent, please no PO Boxes). Allow 1-2 weeks for delivery. Please note, each chapter is responsible for plaque engraving.
