This is for all you technophiles who have little time for wellness but, like, a LOT of time for Reddit :)

Listed below are a few of the great free apps that exist not only for personal use but also for recommending to patients as part of a counseling session on exercise and diet changes, stress reduction, medication compliance and smoking cessation!

Pedometer FREE: 10,000 steps/day toward better cardiovascular health.

Fitness Buddy: Learn a new exercise each week.

Pret-a-Yoga Lite: A yoga instructor guides you through basic routines.

Myfitnesspal: Track your meals, set caloric goals, track your progress. Also has bar-code capture for rapid entry of foods.

Take a Break Guided Meditation. By Oasis.com.

Rxmindme: Tracks your prescriptions and sends reminders.

NCI QuitPal (iOS only): Track progress, identify barriers, and share your accomplishments on social networks.
