Everyone needs to breathe. If patients cannot do it effectively, they need our help, STAT. All physicians need to be able to maintain adequate oxygenations and ventilation. Convention attendees experienced hands on mass ventilation, intubation and other rescue techniques, as taught by local anesthesiology residents.
