When you join AMSA, you become part of a vital force of future physicians who believe that health professionals and patients are partners in the management and maintenance of health, and that access to high-quality health care is a right and not a privilege. What can you do as a medical student member?

At the local level, AMSA chapters serve as unifying groups and resources for students interested in medical education and practice, participation in the local community, and enhancement of their medical school experience. At the national level, medical student members participate in:
