It’s so wonderful to be reaching out to you – if only virtually! I have heard from many alumni over the years who express a desire to “give back” to AMSA because of the amazing experiences and skills AMSA gave to us. Well, there has never been a better time to do so. Because of federal funding cuts and re-organized priorities, AMSA and the AMSA Foundation are not receiving the same level of support we enjoyed for many years in the past. As the President of the AMSA Foundation Board of Directors, I am leading the effort to get the word out about the AMSA Foundation’s three new initiatives, our new website with online giving capability and our new development campaign. As you know, the AMSA Foundation works to create projects to help carry out AMSA’s mission. Now is the time – AMSA needs your help today.
