Ramona Mittal has served as a national leader in the American Medical Student Association for two years. She was previously a Medical Regional Director and will be serving as the National Secretary this year. She hopes to inspire individuals to carry out their voices through AMSA and build lifelong skills and relationships. Ramona previously graduated with her Bachelor of Science and her Master’s in Business Administration with a concentration in Health Organization Management from Texas Tech University. She previously founded the Cardiology Interest Group, an organization in which aspiring cardiologists can find a niche. She has also served on her local AMSA chapter, helping lead an AIDS Awareness initiative. Along with this, she maintains involvement in research, focusing on end-of-life memento collection and its prevalence in critical care, while upholding several responsibilities within the West Texas region and striving to make a global impact. Ramona is ecstatic to be joining the Board of Trustees and cannot wait to see what this coming year has in store!
