Ramona Mittal is a second year medical student. She graduated with her Bachelor of Science from Texas Tech University and then pursued her Master’s in Business Administration with a concentration in Health Organization Management at Texas Tech University. Ramona remains active at her medical school, having founded the Cardiology Interest Group, an organization in which aspiring cardiologists can find a niche. Along with this, she is involved with American Medical Student Association (AMSA) at her school. This is when she became aware of the amazing AMSA network and ran for national office. She maintains involvement in research, focusing on end-of-life mementos and their prevalence in critical care, and continues to uphold several responsibilities within the West Texas region, while aspiring to make a global impact. Ramona is excited to be joining the Board of Trustees and can’t wait to see what this coming year has in store!
