Thank your for your interest in developing an Action Committee project. Over the years, many AMSA Action Committee projects have gone on to become very successful independent activities, providing leadership experiences, community service and opportunities for medical education reform. We look forward to reviewing your proposal. Please answer the following questions so that we can evaluate the strengths of the proposal.

General Description Please provide a general description of what you want to do. You may want to include some background information on the problem/issue you are addressing and why it is important.
Purpose of the Project How will this project affect and benefit the AMSA membership?
Project Goals What do you wish this project to accomplish both long-term and short-term?
Project Timeline Please describe the development of this project over the year (e.g. by May 1 the following will be addressed/completed. . .) Please use concrete examples in your description.
Budget Proposal Please try to be as specific as possible (e.g. communications, postage, etc.) No guarantees are made in terms of how much funding will be allocated to each project.
Project Team Who will be working with you on this project? What will be the responsibilities of each member of the team?
Evaluation Tools How will the success of this project be measured? Who will administer the measurement tool? How will the evaluation data be incorporated in the project?
Project proposals will be discussed and voted on at the appropriate Action Committee time during national convention.
