IBIDS database
The International Bibliographic Information on Dietary Supplements (IBIDS) is produced by the Office of Dietary Supplements (ODS) at the National Institutes of Health to assist the public, health care providers, educators, and researchers in locating credible, scientific information on dietary supplements.

AMED -Allied and Complementary Medicine
A unique bibliographic database that covers a selection of journals in complementary ("alternative") medicine, palliative care, and several professions allied to medicine." Created by the British Library, AMED emphasizes clinical data and research studies from peer-reviewed or significant publications in the field.
Cochrane Library
Provides evidence-based meta-analyses and protocols on a wide range of treatment options for patients, researchers, and faculty. Primarily oriented toward Western medicine including some CAM topics.
Natural Medicines Comprehensive Database
An international database of herbal and dietary supplements and provides scientific information on safety, effectiveness, and contraindications. Excellent monographs and detailed drug-interaction information provided.
Natural Standard
Provides extensive, evidence-based reviews of research on botanical and dietary supplements, as well as other complementary and alternative medicine therapeutics to aid health care practitioners and patients in the decision-making process.

Research Council for Complementary Medicine
A London-based registered educational non-profit organization established in 1983. The RCCM is involved with the "carrying out, promoting and facilitating rigorous research in complementary medicine to encourage safe and effective practice and improved patient care." Information is provided on the RCCM's CISCOM database which contains over 80,000 records on CAM.
