The culinary students of Johnson and Wales University have teamed up with the medical students at Tulane University in a program that is all the buzz. The recipe for success: one chef in training, one medical student, the tools to make magic in the kitchen, and a pinch of determination and commitment. Combine all ingredients to create a special partnership determined to design a well balanced and nourishing menu to promote and educate about a healthy living lifestyle.

The first of this type of program, the creators and students work to change the way medical professionals think about food. Instead of doctors trying to fix only the things that are wrong when we visit their office, this program is a way to build awareness for those doctors to be pro active, and educate their patients, about a proper and healthy diet to avoid lifestyle diseases like obesity and diabetes.
