Miscellaneous Opportunities
Complementary & Alternative Medicine Summer Program for Medical Students Space is still available for the ninth annual CAM summer program for medical and health science students. The three-credit elective provides an introduction to acupuncture and Oriental medicine, whole foods nutrition, and naturopathic medicine, including homeopathy, botanical medicine, physical medicine, and mind-body medicine. Students learn the history, philosophy, and clinical successes during lectures, are able to observe patient care and have the option to be patients themselves at the Bastyr Center for Natural Health. This three fold experience helps students to better understand the different modalities for their future practice. Plan to be transformed at the CAM summer program! For more information, including interviews of former students, go to www.bastyr.edu/camsummer.
