Chapter Recruitment Rebate Program

Recruitment is a significant responsibility and we are glad to be able to give something back to our chapters for their hard work and dedication. This rebate program has grown in recent years to include every recruited U.S. medical, premedical and international student member from an AMSA chartered chapter. We hope this will help provide a way for chapter members to attend our annual convention. Or if you are not able to attend, you may use the money on a chapter meeting, pizza party, community project or whatever you decide. It's up to you.

U.S. Medical Member 50/70+ Rebate Program

This rebate program is based upon the incoming class size at each individual school. Membership applications that have been received between January 1 - December 31 will be included in the school's tabulation. This is how a rebate is determined:

• A chartered chapter will receive $2 for each member recruited.
• If the chartered chapter reaches 50% of its incoming class size, the chapter will receive $5 for each member recruited.
• If the chartered chapter reaches 70%+ of its incoming class size, the chapter will receive $6 for each member recruited.

Rebate checks will be issued to your chapter prior to the March AMSA Annual Convention.

Premedical Rebate Program

To qualify for this rebate, the chartered chapter must recruit at least 10 members. Premedical chartered chapters will receive $2 for each premedical student who joins AMSA between Jan. 1 - Dec. 31. Rebates will be issued prior to the March Annual Convention.
