Women's Health Conferences

  • Medical Students for Choice
MSFC is an internationally known non-profit organization with a network of over 10,000 medical students and residents around the United States and Canada. Medical Students for Choice stands up in the face of opposition, working to destigmatize abortion provision among medical students and residents, and to persuade medical schools and residency programs to include abortion as a part of the reproductive health services curriculum. The MSFC annual conference brings pro-choice students together to learn about current practices and to network with one another, as well as pro-choice physicians.

  • American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists
ACOG was founded in 1951 in Chicago, Illinois, and has over 52,000 members. It is the nation's leading group of professionals providing health care for women. Now based in Washington, DC, it is a private, voluntary, nonprofit membership organization. ACOG’s Annual Clinical Meeting provides students and physicians with up-to-date information on women’s health.

  • Women in Medicine (WIM) – For Lesbian Physicians
Through its annual retreats, WIM provides cutting-edge continuing medical education for lesbian physicians, a forum for discussion of front-line research on lesbian health issues, non-medical seminars of interest to all, as well as rejuvenating social opportunities for children and adults alike. • Philadelphia Trans-Health Conference
Transgender, genderqueer and gender variant individuals and their families, friends, allies and providers converge on Pennsylvania each Spring to participate in the Annual Philadelphia Trans-Health Conference.  Geographically, they come from all parts of the country.  In a metaphoric sense, they may be coming from different places as well; different perspectives, different experiences.  But they all come with the same purpose in mind;   to learn, to share, to grow.  Truly, different paths….one journey.

  • World Professional Association for Transgender Health
