LGBT Institutional Policy Index
The LGBT Institutional Policy Index is an exciting new project to Gender and Sexuality. The project will focus on evaluating select institutional policies of all medical schools to serve as a catalyst for changing the exclusionary policies affecting LGBT students. The goal of the project will be to create a supportive and transparent atmosphere for LGBT medical school applicants and medical students.

Join the Policy Letter Writing Campaign
The Gender and Sexuality committee is pleased to announce the inaugural year of the policy letter writing campaign. Our women’s policy coordinator is developing an educational module that will teach you how to effectively generate letters to the editor and op-ed’s on hot topics that you care about. These tools will equip AMSA members to respond effectively to important issues in the news allowing us to further our AMSA goals.
